Our Snugglebud Standards

Our Snugglebud  Standards are what sets us apart from other service providers. Read below to learn more about our core beliefs.

Client Centered Care

We Your values guide our care. We respect the preferences and individual needs of our clients, so our service plan begins with you. We understand that every family is unique, so we are sensitive to your parenting styles and respectful of whichever methods you choose. If you are a new parent or open to different styles, we have the tools to support you as well.

We train all our providers with newborn-care-specific education. Snugglebuds Newborn Care is not a “babysitting” service. Education is at the core of what we do. In addition to providing nurturing care, promoting health, and preventing illness to our clients, we also educate and teach parents the most up-to-date, evidence-based best practices.

We We understand that safety is a major concern when dealing with delicate newborns, so your baby’s safety and well being is our top concern. All of our providers are fully trained in current safety standards including, but not limited to, safe sleep habits, safe feeding habits, infection prevention, hand washing habits, safe swaddling, and much more.

When selecting team members, we look for those with a strong demonstration of honesty, morality, and trustworthiness. Ethics is an immense part of nursing; therefore,  we commit to principles such as veracity, non-maleficence, beneficence, fidelity, justice, and autonomy.

Judgment Free

To ensure that all of our clients feel comfortable, we uphold a non-judgment policy unless we feel it interferes with the safety of a newborn. We believe that every parent needs the space to adapt to the transition of bringing a newborn into the home. We are there to help facilitate that transition by offering compassion, understanding, and support during the process.
