Overnight At-Home Newborn Care
Our overnight newborn care services include more than just overnight caregiving. We provide a coordinated support team to move your newborn through the various stages of early schedule development. As an added bonus, we also provide additional support for the family including parent education and household tasks to keep the baby’s area neat and clean. Your specialist will come to your home around 10 pm to begin the overnight service and stay until around 7 am. We are flexible with scheduling which includes a minimum service range of 8 hours to a maximum of 12 hours.
Developing a solid sleeping and eating schedule during the first few months of an infants life are crucial. When your body is trying to recover from pregnancy, labor, and delivery, it can be a challenge to properly heal and handle the around-the-clock demands of a newborn. At Snugglebuds, we understand that tired moms can use a helping hand, so we are here to provide that needed support through professional service providers who have the experience to guide you through this delicate process. The benefits of newborn overnight care are far-reaching. When an infant learns good sleeping habits early on, this can trickle down into your family relationships as well. When a baby can self-soothe and fall asleep without the continual need for picking up, holding and/or rocking back to sleep, the mom gets well-needed rest which in turn helps her to be more available and engaged with loved ones.
Two Service Options Available
At Snugglebuds, we provide 2 package options depending on your current needs and budget.
Registered Nurse
(Premiere Package) starting at $40/hr
Our registered nurses are an ideal solution for both mom and baby and especially recommended for premature babies or for those needing medication administered (with your permission). A registered nurse can also perform a head-to-toe assessment and exam your newborn, monitor vital signs, provide circumcision care, umbilical cord care, and most importantly, educate.
Newborn Care Specialist
(Standard Package) starting at $30/hr
Our newborn care specialists are equipped to provide quality newborn care services for your infant throughout the night. This will allow you to get some much-needed rest with the confidence of knowing that your baby is in great hands. A newborn care specialist is not licensed to perform the tasks of a registered nurse. If you require the services of a trained nurse, please select our Premiere Package option.
With the Snugglebuds’ service, you’ll receive a well-trained and experienced provider to take care of your little one’s needs (8-12 hour overnight shifts). Our package options are based on your current needs and the experience and educational level of the provider.
